Been an avid tractor puller since 1977. When I bought my first 4430 John Deere from a dealership in Glencoe, it was taken to a tractor pull before it was taken home.
Won 8500 lb Mod Farm class in 2006. In 2007, switched to Super Farm and won both the 9300 and 10000 lb classes; in 2008 placed 2nd in both classes.
Was invited to compete at Louisville, KY in February 2009 at the National Farm Machinery Show & Tractor Pull.

Story regarding the vehicle: Started pulling in 1971 with an 856 IH. In 1978, pulled with a 1486 with cab. In 1984, we tarted with the 1066 both pulling and farming until 1997 when it retired from farming.
